Cost Assessment Process
MDA’s Initial Assessment Package includes our comprehensive Market Data Cost Saving Analysis, Contract Rationalization and Vendor Invoice Reconciliation.
1. Review
MDA will conduct our Contract Rationalization process, in which we review your existing spending with all of your market data vendors and collect all of your data. We will get to know the nuances of your organization and sift through all of your contracts and invoices for anything market data related from reporting, to billing, to procurement, to identity any inefficiencies that may contribute to your market data spent.
2. Analyze Data
MDA will perform invoice reconciliation; the process of comparing what you spend to what you need. We will identify redundancies in data spread out across multiple vendors and consolidate contracts to reduce cost.
3. Diagnose Costs
After completing our data analysis, MDA will provide a summary of all of our findings, including recommendations on how to improve your market data management to lower your costs.

Who doesn’t love an audit? For Quote Meter audits, the exchanges require that any client utilizing real-time CTA or Hong Kong Exchange data perform an audit on a per quote basis, thus requiring the review of a quote meter. These audits occur on a Biennial basis (every two years). MDA will assist you with these audits and make sure you are exchange compliant completely free of charge.
Are you new to the per quote data game? Clients that are new to utilizing per quote data require an audit within 90 days. Thankfully, MDA will confirm and assist in providing guidance in setting up your quote meter, making you more than compliant with the overtly specific exchange policy. MDA will go through the policy, to confirm your quote meter is acting in agreement with that policy. MDA will also teach you how to approach these audits in the future and will help provide you with a profound understanding of this exchange policy.
